Job description

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will work hand in hand with the quality and compliance department in the production of the manuals; with the EFB administrator for support with the EFB management; with the pilot fleet managers for aircraft type specific procedures and performance and mass and balance optimizations; and with the Head of Engineering, for the project developments and optimizations within the department.

  • Develop and update Operating Manuals (OM), Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) and type specific operational checklists ;
  • Ensure the compliance with Civil Aviation Authorities and applicable regulations,
  • Support to the EFB administrator with the integration of new EFB procedures, monitoring of devices and software versions, user management and technical support ;
  • Aircraft performances and mass and balance calculations ;
  • Analysis of the manufacturer documentation and applicability to Global Jet’s fleet

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering ;
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to learn new software tools ;
  • Good knowledge of Apple iPad & iOS ;
  • Takes initiative to improve existing systems, processes, and documentation ;
  • Effective organization, time management and excellent editing skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines under demanding conditions
  • Capacity to work and adapt to a multicultural environment
  • Able to analyze and synthetize complex problems
  • Proven experience in the aviation industry
  • Knowledge of aeronautical documentation
